An Introduction

Hello and welcome to my first post. I’m excited and nervous but mainly excited. The repetition is real.

So where do I begin? I guess I should start by saying a few things about myself and yes, considering this is a blog post and not a room filled with strangers, I’m sure I can handle it. I’m Dimi, a 21-year-old aspiring author and illustrator.

If you haven’t already guessed, I like sunsets. However, the main reason I started this blog is because I love writing and pretty much all things creative.

I’m currently at university studying for an English Literature and Creative Writing degree. If I’m not writing essays, analysing novels or working on independent creative projects, I’ll be writing for fun. Whether it’s writing on the train, the bus or even when it’s late at night, a pen and a little notebook are always around. Writing has and continues to be a big part of my identity.

I will try to post regularly and you can expect to see more writing as well as some artwork and photography.

I’ll leave you with a quote I came up with a few weeks ago: ‘If you can’t talk about it, write about it.’
